Silver the Hedgehog (シルバー・ザ・ヘッジホッグ Shirubā za Hejjihoggu?) is a fictional anthropomorphic silver-colored hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Silver hails from at least 200 years into the future where his role is to protect the future by changing the problems or catastrophes in the past, thus preventing the ruining of his time. To aid him in his tasks to save the future, Silver makes use of his psychokinesis, an ability from his time that is considered second-nature, which allows him to levitate and move objects with the power of his mind.
Silver is a kindhearted and well-meaning individual, driven by a strong sense of justice to right the wrongs of the past to uphold peace, though he tends to be somewhat naive and immature. Despite the monumental tasks he may have on hand, he is an optimist and will do whatever it is required of him to protect the world, however his personality changes when he is his alter-ego Venice the Mink, when Silver is push to his limit he changes to his "other self" known as Venice whom is a Mink, when as Venice he becomes cold, egotistic, sadistic and refuses to admit defeat, most times though Venice will force himself out due to Venice exclaiming that he refuses to be forgotten again, none know where Silver's alter ego came from but his abilities do become stronger as Venice and has an orange aura rather than blue.

((I'm finally getting up from my lazy butt to type Venice a headcanon on why he's so destructive and angry.))
Long ago in a different timeline Venice was the actual Silver a mink, not a hedgehog, technically there was not a Silver to begin with in Venice's timeline, Venice was never so violent and was not Silver's alter-ego at first.
Venice was a young mink with special psychic abilities but in an orange color, he hails from the future but was able to save it by travelling back to the past without assistance of Mephiles, from there Venice had met and befriended Sonic the Hedgehog as the two fought at first but that was cause Venice needed a
